What in the world is going on with this story? "Up All Night" is an NBC show, not ABC. "Community" got a 13-episode order and "Parks and Recreation" got a full season: 22 episodes. That's information that was readily available from any number of media sites.
Why should anyone trust the Post for even the most basic information anymore?

Thanks for helping to bring this story to public light. Though there are many reasons why adoption is necessary and beneficial, this period of history is intimately linked to the shame and secrecy that drove laws still on the books today which deny adult adoptees access to their birth identity. Truth and transparency in adoption helps reduce shame, corruption and damaging practices such as what these women had to endure.

how about the continuing practice of social services selling babies! why not touch on that subject, since it's STILL going on, and STILL affecting families! ESPECIALLY in boulder county colorado, but all over the states as well> Social services is ripping babies away form families to place adoption orders from rich people who can't have babies of their own, and it's WRONG! I did NOT give birth to 2 wonderful boys just to give them to someone rich!

Let me get this straight. The headline says "DIRECTV pulls the plug on the Mountain West Sports Network" and in the blog entry it clearly says according to DIRECTV that the channel will not be available from ANY television provider.

So explain to us how this is DIRECTV pulling the plug and not the Mountain West Network simply going away for good? Incredibly misleading headline.

Here is a copy of the message sent by DirecTV to its subscribers.

"Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for being a loyal DIRECTV customer. We appreciate your business and would like to provide an important update regarding your DIRECTV®programming. Effective May 31, 2012, The Mtn. Network (Ch. 616), a sports network that broadcasts Mountain West Conference collegiate sports, will cease operations and end the broadcasting of their channel. This means the channel will not be available from any television provider, including DIRECTV and its competitors. "

As you see, the broadcast network ceased operations. It was not a unilateral decision by DirecTV to eliminate the channel.

Your story last night did not tell the whole story about all Labor Unions. They are not all the same. You tried to balance your story by talking to a contractors association, which of course is going to slam Unions as well. You should have done your homework and talked to other Labor Unions whose leaders work long hours to try to help their members by negotiating with contractors ,who play by the rules, to earn a living wage with benefits. When this is accomplished it not only helps our members but the non-union sector as well by keeping wages competitive without a race to the bottom which is what is currently going on. By saying THE UNION, you gave a lot of very hard working people a 'Black Eye'.

Man, Judge Judy is a bitch. Regardless of your reason for being in her court you can and will be treated very poorly. She is so very nasty that, manytimes, she fails to hear what her "victims" are talking about. Many times her show demonstrates a serious miscarriage of justice. By the way, I watch it every day.

Yep, Keith WAS the bright light, the classy chandelier if you will, at CurrentTV. And they turned out the light. Hey, when they say “Keith, you’re gonna be half-partner at Current” and they offer you 10 million a year, it implies that you’ll have SOME control over your work environment, your new home... no? Ahhhhh yes ....but of course....excuse me, I forgot : For we must contrast those nasty angry egotistic Liberal commentators (like Keith Olbermann) with…..the quiet, humble, self-effacing, ego-less, almost Budda-like qualities of Conservative commentators…..who, no doubt, bicycle to work, so that they might not offend THEIR limo drivers. Chill out Right Wingers, and just take two (more) Viagras. But do me a favor- and DON’T call me in the morning. :-) The REAL question we should be asking is : Did CurrentTV simply USE Keith to gain attention and higher ratings? They KNEW what they were getting! Did they lure him with big bucks, and then drop him when they were done? Yes, we all know that Keith injects emotion and passion into his commentary, into his intelligent and incisive reporting, and into his humor….all of which makes his program interesting, as well as informative. He’s forceful, honest, and direct: you FEEL his pain, you FEEL his anger, and you FEEL his heart-felt sincerity when he covers a story. And he covers it well. He’s NEVER just another talking head! If Keith is absent from CurrentTV, then I too will be absent from CurrentTV. For Keith is one of the best – hands down- as evidenced by his outstanding coverage of OWS during the past year. I wish him well, and hope that he is back on the air soon. We need his unique voice and viewpoint!

Don't let Comcast's so-called "On Demand" be your deciding factor for using Comcast (aka XFinity). The "free movies are generally at least 20 years old (unless you are a big fan of the FEAR network). As far as television series, to see any of TNT's series "on demand", you must pay a separate subscription (there are "free" movie channels - like FX - which also require a subscription), and network shows are a joke: popular series like "Unforgettable", "Criminal Minds" and current season episodes of "The Mentalist" (TNT offers episodes in syndication - for a fee) are just a few of the shows not in the series "on demand" - however if you miss "Angel", "Men of a Certain Age", "Everybody Loves Raymond" (just a few of the canceled series you can watch) - or any number of the "reality shows" it might be for you!

Your distaste for the liberal ideology is evident. While that's indeed yours, don't confuse legitimate reporting with differences in outlook. I get my news from a wide variety of sources; in addition to NPR, I listen to the BBC, CNBC, MSNBC, FOX and a variety of on-line journals. Consistently, FOX stands out as one that regularly reports marginal stories having a ideological ax to grind and when they do miss the boat, they don't retract. That works for you and a lot of other folks, but don't fall into the the trap it's all the "libs" which is a very tired and dated argument. BTW - NPR is remains a middle of the road, objective news source - they've covered the recent GOP presidential primary race in depth and without favoritism. You wouldn't know that as you don't listen.
